Winners were announced yesterday for the Nigerian Blog awards 2012. The announcement which was made via a live event on twitter had Linda Ikeji winning both the Nigerian Blog of the year and Best Entertainment Blog by popular votes and the judges’ choice. A relatively new blog, Dayo Ibitoye’s Blog won the Best Science and Technology Blog by popular vote while Tech Loy won the same award through the decision of the judges. In other categories, 365 Naija News won the Best News Blog by Popular vote and judges’ decision, while Jobberman Blog won the Best Business, Career, or Job Blog also by popular votes and the decision of the judges. The Best New Blog category produced Miss Petite Nigeria as winner through the judges’ decision and Entertainment World by popular vote.
