CJN admits Oyinlola, 3,896 others as new

ABUJA — Former Governor of Osun State,
Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, was yesterday,
called to the Nigerian Bar by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Mariam Aloma Muhktar. Oyinlola, alongside 3,896 other new wigs were enjoined by the CJN to eschew habits capableof reducing the judiciary to ridicule, even as the Director General of the Nigerian Law School, Dr.
Tahir Mamman, enjoined them to strive
towards creating employment opportunities for others.
According to Tahir, those called to the Bar
yesterday were those that passed the 2012 Bar final examinations. Oyinlola, is currently the Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. Meanwhile, a total of 5,449 students had sat for the August final examination of which nine passed with first class, 195 had second class
upper, 900 second class lower and 2,783 hadpass. Information made available to Vanguard revealed that 1,552 Law School students failed the examination.
The Law School Director General further stated that some young lawyers were caught impersonating during the examination, adding that they were presently facing criminal trial. In his speech at the occassion, Chairman of the Body of Benchers, Chief Idowu Sofola, urged the new lawyers to be prompt at court
attendance and handle any case assigned to them with diligence, caution and confidentially.
He also implored them to avoid trial by media and shun the habit of granting interviews on any matter pending before a court of competent jurisdiction.

Interesting, no more hiring of plenty lawyers to defend His ( and PDP) electoral fraud. Congratulations to him though!
