Responsibilities

Developing original content for assigned online niche publications, on a daily basis.
Complying and contributing to the customer and marketing support efforts of the company

Following up and executing initiated marketing activities.

Skills and Specifications

Proficiency in social media and Microsoft office programs.
Graphic design skills will be an advantage.

Events Manager Full-time


Responsible for managing social and virtual events and ensuring deadlines and budgets are adhered to. Directs coordination of activities to prepare for the day of the event.

Primary responsibilities include:


Coordinate details of our hosting social events and virtual events.
Calculate budgets and adjust when necessary.
Book venues and negotiate fees.
Prepare invitations and send out at appropriate time.
Hire bartenders and wait staff.
Drive attendance to the event.
Promote the event using flyers, cold calling, and social media as examples of ways to spark attention.
Analyze event performance and prepare metrics presentation.
Define company brand through events.
Ensure we are adequately prepared for event.
Pay vendors for their participation in the event.
Provide receipts if needed.
Ensure day of event goes smoothly.
Set up booths, flowers, decorations, and other event decor.
Plan menus, order food, and hire caterers.
Give final approval for items such as music and menus.

Qualifications:
Ability to solve problems and work independently in a multitasking environment with deadlines.
Excellent planning and project management skills
Proven ability to take direction and input, and to deliver engaging branded social events.
Excellent social media skills.Exceptional written and verbal communications. Strong computer skills, especially microsoft office.
