So I told dad no lakes no marriage and he said I should stop wasting my time. I told him I know what I want and he said I'm a child. I was like that's the problem, he sees me as a child and I'm not, I just crossed silver jubilee. I just kept threatening no lakes no marriage. he admmited to being touched by my letter tho.

The difference is is he sounded more softer this time and just kept saying I should try understand as he wants the best for me.

Funny I asked him what will happen if he finds lakes different but he smiled and dorged the question.

Good news he has agreed to see him and bad news he is still saying no and his visit will change nothing.

I just want to say u shld put it in prayers too.If God sanctions it, it may tk tym, bt it ll definitely come to pass. I had a senior colleague during schl days, whose dad didnt want her to marry from outside their tribe(Ada's frm abiriba usu marry frm abiriba). Bt dis lady was dating a guy dat wasbt even Igbo, it tuk yrs, as in years, bt in d end their love and prayers conquered. And nw, they re happily married. So if u re sure of dis guy, pray abt it and just patiently wait for God to change daddy's mind.
