In my area of the US, for some reason chicken and Basmati rice have been cheaper than they have been in at least 2 years. I stocked up and used some of both for tonight’s Filipino Adobo Chicken with Garlic Fried Rice.

Texas. Much of it is grown in Louisiana, a neighboring state, and I just saw a report about a surplus.

1. Black pepper is totally different from Cameron pepper and African black pepper. Cameroon pepper is dried and grinded yellow pepper (ata)

2. No. They blend chilli not Cayane

3. Paprika is not hot. I think those oyibo people prefer it because they don't like pepperish food. Oregano is just a nice herb used for culinary purpose. I have the plant growing in my container garden

I think u can get It in stores like SPAR, Shoprite etc , I do see it in these places .

Why I’m not impressed in the fish is how I see people prepare it online . Most of the ways of preparing it I see online are just too boring and non inspiring for me. Maybe if somebody here tries it and gives it a big hype I will equally try it too
