Nigeria's Golden Eaglets were drawn alongside Ghana, Congo and Cote d' Ivoire in Group B. While Nigeria missed the last two editions of the African U-17 championships but qualified in an impressive style for this tournament, scoring 21 goals and conceding only one, Ghana is returning to the finals for the first time since 2007. The semi-finalists will represent Africa at the Under-17 World Cup in October in the United Arab Emirates. Group A is made up of Morocco, Gabon, Tunisia and Botswana. The championships will be held between April 23 and 27 in Morocco. Democratic Republic of Congo will be making its first time appearance at the U-20 tournament, while Gabon will be putting up a second time appearance. Tough draw for the Golden Eaglets. Well, the coach has always said they've never had any team really challenge them so I guess this is it. . . It'd be a chance for me to see how good the team is. Talk in town is this team is the closest thing to a real U-17 Nigeria has presented in decades. It's also been reported that the team is very mobile, plays tiki-taka like Barca and can pass their opponents to death. This competition will be a chance for me to see if all these is true  1 Like |

^^^ I like the fact that they play tiki-taka  I also hope they can play direct football when the situation warrants it.Anyway good luck to our Golden Eaglets. |
