One of Nigerian talented artist, TIWA BANKS aka Tiwantiwa was yesterday brutally assaulted by her landlord's youngest son called Tobi Obadina who has assaulted several people in the hood...

Tobi Obadina came into Tiwa's apartment at night due to little misunderstanding in the day, broke a bottle on her head then stabbed her, her brother and a neighbor who met him at the scene.

He left her in d pool of blood before She was rushed to the hospital by neighbors.

Tiwa is on hospital bed now while Tobi Obadina is a free man boasting that no one can arrest him because his father is an ex-officer.

What side of a story does someone have to tell when he breaks into your home and stabs you through with a broken bottle. It's easy to type free on your phone and say what you like when you are not the victim. Whatever that guy has to say, in a civilized country, he should be saying it behind bars. But alas, is this one a civilized country... considering comments like the above.
I praise the poster for putting up this story on the internet. Let the uproar that it would naturally generate bring that young man to justice!

Nigerians and violence. Just terrible. This is how some Nigerians carry their aggressive and violent behaviors abroad and today many are languishing in foreign prisons. I don't know why people cannot settle their differences amicably. It is just pathetic. I hope she feels better.

what other side of the story do you want? It can never justify stabbing a person in the middle of the night in their own home. He should be arrested for assault and attempted murder.

Nigeria is such a terrible jungle. That's why it amazes me how people run their mouths, aggravate others' unnecessarily, and engage in all kinds of dangerous braggadocio. A little common sense and discretion always helps; it doesn't make anyone a coward or weakling.

I don;t know the circumstances of the case, but people really need to be more careful in this part of the world where so many folks are frustrated and mentally unstable. More so where one is not guaranteed protection by the criminal justice system. It's really pathetic.

I desperately hope that the culprit would be brought to justice, but something tells me that it is unlikely.

Correct bro. However, I think the guy should be stapped or even shot before being put behind bars.
