Just this morning, there was a fire outbreak at the extension of the Muritala Mohammed Int'l Airport Lagos (the arrival hall ).

The cause of the fire accident according to an eyewitness was cable faults, which apparently melted under excessive electrical heat.

According to the the eyewitness, this led to a blackout in the airport terminal while fire fighters rushed in to put off the fire.

As at the time of filing this report, the firefighters were able to put the situation under control while security operatives erected a metal barricade around the site to control human movement.

No casualties have been reported so far...

Everyone really needs to be at alert...control kids throwing knock outs...prevent them from the use of matches.....unplug all cell phones when going to bed...do not turn the electric stove on or the electric oven on while going to bed...pls lets all be watchful this harmattan season...wishing us all a joyful xmas celebrations and a happy match into 2013!
