As expected, PSY's "Gangnam Style" today became the first video on YouTube to surpass one billion views. The video, which was first posted on July 15, 2012, surpassed Justin Bieber's "Baby" to become the most watched video on YouTube back in late November.  The video also earned the top spot for the most popular video on YouTube in 2012 this past week. At the time of writing, Gangnam Style has gathered 1,026,920,502 total views.
