Currently working on a project (not web)that requires some sort of server back end database query machine to organize table entries dynamically and efficiently. Which of the popular SQLs (MYSQL or SERVER SQL) does a better job?

specifying the language you are using would help a lot
If the language is C#/VB use SQL server if not, use mySQL
BTW, i prefer mySQL - just a personal preference

or sqllite depending on the nature of your app....
