A respectable firm in Lagos , is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Senior Project Manager.

Job Objective(s)
• Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Responsibilities
• Managing, planning and implementation of multiple complex, turnkey telecom infrastructure projects within time and quality
• Responsible for building and developing new bid and project delivery processes
• Managing cross functional project and program delivery teams and third party suppliers
• Managing program, project issue , risks and providing comprehensive progress
• Responsible for project ,program stakeholder management and communicating with senior clients up to board level
• Develop and effectively manage program timelines to ensure timely completion of program deliverables
• Track progress on program and ensure milestone are met on schedule
• Manage dependencies and interface between projects
• Effective oral and written communication skills, particularly for technical presentations. Writing management / technical reports.
• Ability to demonstrate effective decision making skills
• Ability to exhibit effective problem solving skills and at the same time work well under pressure
• Excellent team player and ability to perform very well in a cross-functional work environment
• Coordinate and manage tasks between the Regional Project Managers during Property acquisition stage, Rollout Planning, Civil Implementation, Operations and Maintenance, Security and other related stakeholders) to ensure successful and on-schedule implementation of planned sites.
• Coordinated the initiation, planning, scope development, risk analysis and implementation of cell sites deployment.
• Reviews all engineering deliverables to ensure project specifications, and design procedures were applied with zero accident tolerance. Hand over Civil completed sites to the Client
• Contract Management – a team member responsible for maintaining the implementation contract and budget within the specification, procedures and processes.
• Assessment and Analysis of Sub-contractor’s Tenders for Projects.
• Coordinate with warehouse team for proper delivery of Rollout equipment for site build.
• Liaising with sub-contractors to ensure project deliverables and timelines are kept.
• Resolve all Civil, Government and Community related problems encountered on site.

Qualification & Experience

Candidate should be a graduate of Electrical Engineering / Civil Engineering
Minimum of 10yrs experience or 4 – 7 years of experience in project management
