Demba Ba hit the net twice for Chelsea in their 5-1 win against Southampton at St. Mary's, the home ground of the Saints, in the FA cup 3rd round tie. Ba scored the 1st and 4th goal of the game, and would have scored an hat-trick, but was denied a goal when Saints keeper, Boruc's feet stopped Ba from heading in. He could have scored a dream debut hat-trick when Chelsea was awarded a penalty, but it was Lampard who stepped up to the spot to put it past the keeper, and this puts the midfielder on level with Chelsea's 2nd highest goalscorer in the club's history with 193 goals..... Goalscorers: Ba (34, 60), Moses 46, Ivanovic 51, Lampard 82.... Do you think this spells the end for Torres, or this will wake him up from his goalscoring slumber? |
