A new laptop to be launched in Russia by Samsung will
use solar power panels
that are directly integrated into the laptop’s lid. The
NC215S will be available in August, or so it is believed and run Windows 7 and
Samsung claims that it will be able to offer a battery life of up to 14.5 hours. Or,
at least one hour of battery life for every two hours exposed to sunlight.
According to the Samsung, the US solar power model will boast a 10.1 inch, 1024
x 600 pixel displays, 1GB
of memory, and a dual core processor. Imagine relying on the powerful sun to provide energy to all aspects of our lives; from
