PUBLIC NOTICE OF MISSING PLAIN CERTIFICATES OF NATIONAL SERVICE

The National Youth Service Corps wishes to inform the general public that the plain Certificates of National Service have been reported missing from its office at the National Directorate Headquaters.

The serial numbers of the missing Certificates are as follows:

(1) A001195301 - A001195500

(2) A001201917 - A001201950

(3) A001191651 - A001191700

(4) A001215501 - A001215700

Consequently, the Federal Civil Service Commission, State and Local Government agencies as well ad other employers of labour in the private Sector are advised to Scrutinize all Certificates of National Service presented to them for employment purposes.

In addition, the general public is further adviced to always verify with the Scheme all letters of exemption from National Service presented by prospective employees before the final engagement of such persons.
