@OP..the word 'actress' is old-fashioned. Both male and female movie stars are referred to as actors.

Whether it's old fashioned or not, the word is still correct. Besides, a lot of people still throw the word around, so I wouldn't consider it old fashioned.

Guys oo An Actor is a male or female acting a movie.......... There is no such thing as who is ur favourite ACTOR or ACTRESS becos u re saying dsame tin,its just like saying who is ur favourite footballer or player.......U can call a female an ACTOR okay take note please.......

It's still in use, but it's fast going out of use! In this era of gender discrimination, it is sexist to refer to one as an actor, and the other an actress. You as a female should know that.

This Genevieve Nnaji hype irritates me. I've met most of them one on one on many occasions & trust me, unlike the warm Omoni, down-to-earth Rita Dominic, respectful Ini Edo, your next-door girl, Kate Henshaw or even the Beyonce-wanna-be but friendly Omotola, Genevieve is very snobbish & arrogant (just like most of the saucy girl roles she plays). And this is not just my opinion. It's those who dont know her that hype her.
