Art is a fantastic way for those to express themselves whether it be painting, drawing, web design, sculpture or even creating a masterpiece that can literally be driven away. Car art is a unique way for some to showcase their creative skills or just be seen as different on the roads. The Golden Mean



Created from a 1966 VW bug, blacksmith Jon Sarrugarte along with his wife fabricated this truly one of a kind car call The Golden Mean. Designed in the shape of a snail, it glows in the dark and shoots rings of fire from its feelers.

Skull Car



Burning man always showcases the coolest and most artistic masterpieces on wheels, it’s no doubt this skull was a hit.


The Golden Zeppelini



“The Golden Zeppelini” is another fantastic wheeled art work creation by Jon Sarrugarte. It was built using an old electric wheel chair and resembles the original blimp.

Split Personality Wooden Car

Half retro and half modern, this very unusual wooden car created by Vasily Lazarenko is made of a refashioned chassis and engine from a 1981 Opel with a whole lot of wood for the exterior.

Giant bug art car



Powered with solar cells and a 2K honda generator this giant bug art car is pretty awesome and looks like a fun ride!

A two for one here… I don’t know! This coffin car is scary to look at and sure to creep out a few fellow drivers.

Created by W.T. Burge, this wicked cool phantom art car is modeled from a 1936 Bugatti Atlantic.

Grass Cars





I am not sure you can call this being ecofriendly, but these neat grass cars definitely make a statement of sorts.

3 Wheeled Wooden Car





A car made entirely from wood (ok, well certain parts obviously aren’t) this neat artistic vehicle weighs roughly 900lb, with a top speed of 101 mph and gets about 60mpg! Created by furniture maker Friend Wood, his three-wheel car, which he has named ‘Tryane II’, was made using the chassis and 602cc engine from a Citroen 2CV.

Dragon Cars





Can you imagine looking in your rear view mirror to see this face staring back at you? Multiples of these extremely detailed and unique dragon art cars are shown off with great pride in the small town of Krasnoyarsk, Russia.

The Ivory Car







Well known art collector Su Zhongyang designed this garish stylish ivory carved wheeled masterpiece adorned with 99 lucky dragons. The body of the car is covered with ivory and yak bone inundated in diamond and gold. Presently, the car is publicly displayed in Guangzhou’s Zhenhai Tower and worth $2.7 million. The car is set to be auctioned off and the sales donated to the 2010 Guangzhou Asian.
