There are individuals with a family history of poor genetics, which predisposes them to problems like obesity, heart diseases, and diabetes just to name a few. I can actually say here that the tip I have to share has been able to help people in this class struggling with their ever present problem of weight gain. It’s also my humble opinion that if this tip can work for people with this genetic challenge, then I dare say it can work for everyone. The tip is actually very simple, and as a matter of fact, has been known to be used as far back as the 1950’s, and will show that the consumption of “bad foods” isn’t the main reason why so many people today are obese.

Why Some People Struggle With Stubborn Fat And Some Don’t
Mostly it all boils down to genetics. By design, when it comes to weight loss, women tend to get the short end of the stick. So it is not coincidence that women find it harder to lose weight than men. These differences are primarily found in the functioning of a woman’s hormones and the construction and function of her fat cells. These two factors influence everything from the way a woman’s metabolism functions to how likely she is to suffer from stubborn fat and other health-related diseases such as osteoporosis.

Fat Cells
The fat cells of women are much bigger, and have much more fat storing enzymes in them than that of men. The female fat cells are actually five times larger the fat cells of men. So you see that the fat cells of a woman are not just capable of holding more fat, but are genetically programmed to do so. This is borne from the child bearing role that women play in the course of nature. Women have been endowed to ensure that they carry enough fat cells for the nurturing of their growing babies. In other words, (like other animals) humans were designed to survive, and not to look good.
There are two major enzymes that are present in the fat cells. They are;
a) Lipogenic – Fat storing enzymes
b) Lipolytic – Fat releasing enzymes
Women have twice the number of lipogenic (fat storing), and only half the number of lipolytic (fat releasing) enzymes compared to men. These enzymes tend to be balanced in a health person. Too much of either type develops an unbalanced system which leads to insulin resistance which is the prime contributor to stubborn fat.

ESTROGEN
Other contributors to stubborn fat are estrogenic compounds called xenoestrogens. These chemicals are a byproduct of fertilizers, plastics, certain herbs, and petroleum products. These compounds in our food and water supply mimic estrogenic functions and aid in binding to estrogenic fat receptors. This produces “induced aromatase influence.” Aromatase is an enzyme that helps convert androgens (male hormone) to estrogenic compounds. When this occurs, it enhances the production of estrone, which is the main culprit in stubborn fat gain in both men and women. Look at many children today and you can see that they have taken on some feminized features such as breast fat.

How does your liver function affect your weight
The liver performs an important role in the body since it s major function is to break down fats in the small intestine by the secretion of bile. Simply put, liver dysfunction can lead to difficulties in eliminating cholesterol.
People who are fond of eating high cholesterol foods, improper functioning of the liver can lead to poor break down of fat and hence accumulation of fat around the abdomen (pot belly). Poor functioning of the liver can also lead to the formation of cellulite that accumulates under your skin, thighs, butt, and stomach.
The sad truth friends is that no matter how good your diet plan is, or gallons of sweat you pour doing those exercises, if your liver isn’t working optimally whatever improvements you see (if any at all) will only be temporal as your liver will still be sending those fat to your stomach, thighs and butt. This explains why people seem to gain weight so fast after leaving a diet program. It’s because the underlying issue is yet to be addressed. My humble advice; clean that liver so you can lose that fat.

How to optimize your liver function and lose weight
I recently found a free video that really explains how optimization of your liver function can improve weight loss, and why weight improvements with any fat loss program without consideration to liver functioning is always short lived. It also shows how to eat certain “bad foods” and still lose weight.Its a video for the Fat Loss Factor, but if you just watch the video, you'll get some really good information that you can use right now to start eating healthier. You'll learn why certain foods prevent you from losing weight; foods that are touted as being healthy and nutritious. And why other foods that you may have been avoiding because they have gotten a bad rap, are actually good for you and will help you burn away the fat.
