If the four teams in the group end up with the same points and we have a tie. . . For example, if after all the 4 group stage games, we have a draw throughout. . . Nigeria. 3 Zambia. 3 Ethiopia 3 Burks. 3 The following criteria will be used to select which team qualifies to the next round. * goal difference * number of goals conceded by each team (goals against) * number of goals scored by each team (goals for) If we still have a tie then. . . * number of cards (red or yellow) issued against each team is considered. (Meaning simple indiscipline could cost you qualification into the next round) Finally if we still have a tie. . . *Then lots cast by officials are used to select the lucky teams that proceed to the next round. 1 Like |
