Hello Friends,

How do i know what graphics/video card to buy? I need a new video/graphics card for my computer so i can play more games. I don't really know much of the sort so i need all the help i can get. My OS is XP and i have a DELL OptiPlex GX270. All i need to know is how to make sure that the graphics/video card i buy is compatible with my computer. Thanks.

A graphic card is just about 60% of gaming requirements, you still need to have a very good hardware (dual core and up processors, cache memory, RAM, large HDD). Getting back to your question, i will recommend the ATI series 5450 for light gaming, 6600 series for medium and 7700 series and above for hardcore gaming.
