Stroke occurs when blood supply of an area of the brain cells is cut off for a long period resulting in the death of the deprived cells from lack of oxygen and nutrients. Stroke is a very deadly disease. It is commonly found in old people like the grand parents. Stroke kills thausands of Nigerians every year. Here are some common symptoms. * Sudden, unexplained headache * Sudden nausea and fever. * Sudden blurred vision especially one eye. * Sudden weakness, numbness, or paralysis of face, arm, leg especially one side of the body. This symptoms appears within few days and people start spending a lot of money buying expensive drugs and injections but all to no avail. The best way to prevent and cure stroke is through our diet. Know what to eat. ENJOY * Eat high fibre * Low fat diet * Fruits and Vegetables * Whole grain food (rice bran, wheat and soya beans) and drink a lot of purified water.
