Again, removal of battery terminal may not call for radio code and if it does your radio code is always written somewhere inside the car.

Just follow these steps and save the 3k the mechanics will rip off you.

1. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON/II" position.
2. Press the select/reset knob until the engine oil life shows up on the display.
3. Press and hold the select/reset knob for approximately 10 seconds. The engine oil life indicator blinks. Release the select/reset knob.
4. Press and hold the select/reset knob for another five seconds. The engine oil life resets to 100 percent.
