This is one of the most anticipated shows in UNILAG this session, Laffrave Concert but due to the MAULAG issue with Presido Jonathan, they have to change date cos the convocation falls on same date.....young unilag upcoming event managers, na wah oooo. Saw their post in unilag today

CHANGE OF DATE FOR LAFFRAVE LIVE IN UNILAG : :

It is with utmost displeasure that we announce this

Due to President's Jonathan ill-advised decision of trying to convert UNILAG to MAULAG, the date of the convocation that was previously slated for January 17th is now shifted to 6th, 7th and 8th of February which coincide with the chosen date for LaffRave Concert and this would adversely affect all vehicular and human movements on that very day!

This would also have security and discomforting situation for attendees, Guests, Press crew, Invited and performing celebrities

However, we regret all inconveniences as date is now 13th of Feb, 2013

On our own part, despite lack of cash sponsors, we have gone ahead to print publicity materials, even on credit, but we just have to endure this shocking change as we know and believe that with right PR, this will work in favour of the event.
