In order to further motivate the Super Eagles players, ahead of the all important clash with Ivory Coast,the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) have promised to handsomely reward them,if they could defeat the Ivorians. Nigeria will on Sunday play against Ivory Coast in the quarterfinals of the 2013 Nations Cup,for a place in the semifinals. The NFF declared that they would pay each player the sum of $15,000,if they could against all odds muster a victory in the game with Ivory Coast. NFF on Tuesday paid each player $30,000 after the team defeated Ethiopia 2-0 and qualified for the quarterfinals. The way NFF structured the financial bonus for the team,the money could get up $100,000 to each player,if they could win the Nations Cup. Is it money that the Super Eagles really need to do well at the Nations Cup? |
