Cote d ivoire defender, Emmanuel Eboue, swallowed his pride to congratulate super eagles and indeed apologised to Nigerians, after his country lost 1-2 to the Super eagles of Nigeria. He did this on his official twitter page after the tough Quarter final duel between the two teams at the on-going African Nations cup. He had initially boasted that the elephant of cote d 'ivoire would defeat the super eagles on the same twitter page few days ago. He said they would 'chop' them like 'fufu'. He further took swipes at Nigerian football federation for not bringing good team to the competition. Below is his congratulatory message and apology after today's match.
