What really makes us human?
Does thinking that we are different makes us human?

If the Neandarthal had a culture,
And buried its dead like we do,
Is he human?

Is it language that makes us human?
Cognition is the ability to reason,
But are human the only cognitive being?


You go to you doctor,
Who tells you are expecting a baby.
You later find the baby is malformed,
With only a half developed brain and body.
Is that baby human?
The doctor advises a termination,
Would you terminate the pregnancy?
Have you killed a human?
