I have observed with dismay the continual neglect of Jon Mikel Obi by the Chelsea Interim Coach, Rafa Benitez since the Ex-Liverpool coach took charge at Stamford Bridge last November.
It is obvious that the Nigerian midfielder is no longer a favoured candidate in Chelsea's double pivot system. It is either David Luiz/Ramires, Lampard/Ramires, or Lampard/Luiz. Even after helping the Super Eagles to a CAF Nations Cup success, he is still being sidelined.
Maybe we are seeing the end of a club legend, who has at least 2 premier league titles, 3 FA cup titles, not to mention the Almighty Champion's League, and medals too numerious to mention.
While Lampard's contract saga has continued to generate so much heat and debates in England, Mikel's travails have been taken so lightly.
I wish Jon Obi Mikel luck as he is still being a good professional that he is.

As far as I know, Rafa is not a racist you can check his records he likes using black players just like Morinho. I think the coach don't fancy Mikel style of player else he doesn't start him as expected.
