talent search show Project Fame
West Africa in 2008, has
unveiled its latest search for
exceptional Nigerian rappers, U-
RAP.
Ultima’s Project Fame West
Africa, over the last five years,
has discovered and developed
young and upcoming stars such
as Iyanya, the Kukere crooner
who won in season 1, Kora
award winning Chidinma, the
season 3 winner, Myke who won
season 2,Monica and Ayo, Praiz,
Kesse, Anis and several others.
Meanwhile, in an attempt to
showcase the rich and diverse
Nigeria talent and to create rap
fused with a uniquely Nigerian
flavour, Ultima is looking for
creative and talented Nigerian
rappers in a You-Tube based
talent search. The multi-stage
search kicks off with a freestyle
preliminary stage where
entrants are allowed to do their
thing. Which they simply upload
to the URAP
site www.urap.ultimalimited.com.
These uploaded videos will be
adjudged by four judges –
Illbliss, WeirdMC, Ghost of Show
Dem Camp and an OAP from
BEAT FM.
In a search that is looking not
just for the best, but also for the
creative fusion of the genre
with a positive and distinctly
Nigerian slant. Ultima seeks,
again to project the creativity of
youthful Nigerians to a global
online audience. With the easy
of YouTube uploads, and social
media sharing the talent of a
new breed of Nigerian rappers
will be broadcast to a global
community and with a cash
prize of half a million naira the
winner can explore a world of
new opportunities.

HOW TO ENTER U-RAP:
U-Rap is
an online/You Tube competition
open to all Nigerian rap artists
at home and abroad. Promoted
by Ultima Ltd a pioneer content
developer and producers of
Project Fame West Africa and
responsible for discovering
talents such as Iyanya,
Chidinma, Myke, Praiz, Monica,
Ayo, Nii, Kesse, Nicholas and
several others.
The goal is to give talented
Nigerian's everywhere a
platform to showcase their
creativity, style and uniqueness
and to motivate anyone
interested in the rap genre.
In order to participate all an
entrant requires is;

1. A home-made/self-made
video of him/herself rapping
(ensure it is NOT more than
2minutes)
2. Go to
www.urap.ultimalimited.com
to register and upload his/her
own video.
3. Check for his/her entry after
12 hours, on YouTube at
www.youtube.com/theuraptv
and
on
www.urap.ultimalimited.com
4. Share his/her video using
facebook, twitter and other
with all his/her contacts, friends
and family and ask them to view
and vote for him/her. Each entry
will be assessed using votes
(25%), views (25%) and Judges
(50%). The Judges (Illbliss,
WeirdMC, Ghost of Show dem
Camp & Maria an OAP from BEAT
FM) will view and assess all the
entries, with the highest scores
from Votes, Views and Judges
will be selected.Artist/entrants
are allowed to submit Up to
three entries for each stage of
the competition, which has 4
stages: Preliminary, Quarter
Final, Semi-Final and Final
Rounds.The Preliminary stage is
now open and runs till March
23rd 2013.
The winner will win a cash sum
of half a million naira
