I came across an important implication of Language in Mathematics. Precise expression of an idea/formula is important in Mathematics. while this can be expressed symbolically, Language as a form of expressing mathematical thought is quite crucial. Consider the sentence below....Can someone point out the problem with this simple statement: One Sudanese dies of hunger almost every hour! |
