I've never tried playing over the internet but I've been playing LAN games since CM 03/04. It's not hard to setup a LAN game. All you have to do is just go to preferences in the game and click on the network and then on the server button.

what happens when a player part of thenetwork is not in? does he go on holiday automatically or what?

fifa manager 08 is bbetter than football manager anytime, more options, more tactics, y'all should try it out!

For the network game go to SI communities! Google it. It's not possible with anyone in Nigeria due to lack of Broadband connectivity.

Football Manager is more detailed than Fifa Manager. FM has twice the number of players available in FIFA. See if you can find any real players in Shooting Stars in FIFA Manager and then do the same for FM (You have to load all players from Nigeria when creating the game first!)!

I went to that FM Africa site. I think those of us on this thread should help check the database for errors concerning Nigerian players and help document players properly.

That game is tiresome and addictive i had to stop playing it after the first season when i hardly had time to do other stuff on the computer

The most addictive game in the world no doubt. I played this game for a total of 34 days. I mean my time spent on it was 34 days. My addictedness rating was "this is my life and I'll do what I want with it" for a long time till it changed to "Strain injury, anyone?". But all that was in 2007 FM. I just got the 2008 FM and I'm just clocking a day. It's better than the last one but there are still some bugs in it.
