I believe in one way or the other we have different Bible whichin some are new while some have stayed long (Old Bible).

In my own case we have many old Bible at home which I may not even touch for almost a year just because I have bought new one.

Now my question is:
Is it good to burn or dispose old Bible?

I am of the opinion that sacred scriptures should be revered for what it is: "the inspired word of God" and disposing it should be done with some dignity.

In my opinion, I see nothing wrong in burning it as long as the intent for burning is praise-worthy. In my opinion I believe burning for good reason is better than throwing it into a thrash bag.

But why not give it to someone who can't afford to buy a bible? If it can still be used then I believe it would be nice to give it to someone who need it.
