The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in the northern part of Kenya is a privately owned non-profit organization that seeks to preserve the wildlife on the foothills of Mount Kenya and supports 12 schools with 3,000 pupils. It has a safari camp with 12 thatched tents with en-suite bathrooms, plus accommodation in and around Wilderness Trails - the homestead belonging to the Craig family.
