recently, i have been discussing with the etranzact team on getting their payment platform on one of our sites and they told me its 150k. cool

but the issue is the commission per transaction. they said its 1.75%

Honestly, i think this is on the high side compared to Interswitch which i heard charge N150 flat rate commissions.

Guys, has any of you dealt with ETRANZACT before? and is this actually 1.75% or am i on the verge of being....

Why should you even consider using eTransact while you can actually use Cashenvoy or other payment processors for free with even cheaper commissions. They incorporate both eTransact, Interswitch, Visa and Mastercard. Please do your research so you don't have to make a wrong investment.

Only if you can understand the exact reason/project that warrants this payment processor.
Some outfits consider it risk enough for even to route their money through etranzact or interswitch...let alone cashenvoy who's a broker.
+ people who wants to pay now needs to open cashenvoy account. Nah!
That aint flexibility.

Even if etranzact or interswitch setup fee is N2m, i dont care. that amount shall be paid. only thing is to be sure all cards are laid on the table which is the reason i came here with the issue thinking there would be answers.

Truth is, you have little or no other choice.

If they say its 1.75% , datz it then.

You are better off with interswitch of the 2, since there are more interswitch than etranzact cards in circulation anyway.

Personally, i'd go with GTPay if name is a big factor as they support both platforms.

If setup cost is an issue, i'd go with any of the aggregators that use GTPay.

No, you dont need to sign up with the aggregator to pay with your card. At least, not the ones i've used.
