The Black Stars of Ghana will be at home to North Sudan in a crucial FIFA World Cup qualifying match in Kumasi. The Ghanaians will be looking forward to getting back to winning ways, in order to keep up the pressure on table-topping Zambia, with a victory on Sunday. The Black Stars lost their last FIFA World Cup qualifying match away to Zambia by 1-0.

On the other hand, the North Sudanese would be seeking their first win in Group D. The North Sudanese were recently stripped of a win over Zambia, due to fielding an ineligible player.

South Sudan applied for FIFA membership when the qualifiers had already started, so they were excluded from this qualifying series. However, they should be eligible for the 2015 AFCON qualifiers and 2018 WC Qualifiers.
