The news stupefied everybody in the Yenagoa campus of the Nigerian Law School this morning as the pains cut deep into the flesh severing the joints and burrowing into the marrow. The young lady, Miss Bennita Idemudia was travelling yesterday to visit a friend after lectures when she died in an auto crash. It could also be recalled that similar event happened in Lagos Campus days back when a student slumped in the bathroom and died. A lecturer also fainted later in dsame campus. Down in Kano Campus, two student were reported to have been mentally distabilized with another student slumping in the class. What is happening to our noble citadel of learning? Is this becoming a norm or mere coincidence? Even previous years are not exception. God protect us from this looming danger. RIP my learned friend
