I have a bold5 (9930 sprint), the network refuses to come on, when u click on it, it rotates and refuses to check the box close to mobile network.

Every other thing is working fine, camera, screen, everything! ....I normally use the wifi to browse,
Its currently with the repairers,
And today they gave conditions of 50/50 i.e fix the phone it comes back, or attempt it and it goes off forever.

Don't wanna take the risk,

What respond do you get each time you insert SIM into the phone.

Its just as if no sim is in the phone

I remember 4 years back, when nokia was nokia lol, I was using this N79 that the keypad suddenly stopped working apart from the off key.
I went round to get it fixed no solution, one fool charged me 10k then, only to return 8k he could not fix it!

I later saw online its a factory problem and to solve it you have to get out a very little ic from the keypad, the ic was originally meant for making d pad work like an ipad (roll ur hands around instead of pressing)

I took it to a repairer told him what to do, showed him pics, and with 300 I fixed it (at the expense of the ipad effect sha)...the repairer thought I was a wizard...lol..he kept arguing with me during the process.
The guy carry my number afterwards
