I think these days the english songs have taken over praise and worship in our different churches.

So I was wondering if anyone cud still remember any easter song in his mother tongue.

Yes I can still sing one in Ibo language:

"Christi bilitere n'onwu,
Onyenweanyi bilitere n'onwu.
Halelluyah! Halelluyah!!
Onwu enweghi ike(power) n'ebe odi"

"Christ rose from death,
Our Lord rose from death.
Halelluyah! Halelluyah!!
Death has no power over him"
