A lady said to me that: ''Any engagement ring in your hand beyond 2 years is already a key holder''

How true is this?

In my own opinion, i believe having a ring in your hand for over 2 years does not matter..

I believe God's time is the best...

I believe it's a choice..

You rush into it, you will rush out

OR

You wait for God's time, and enjoy it.

Yes o, I agree with this, once you are engaged, the wedding shouldn't be too far behind. What is the purpose of getting engaged and years passing by without a wedding? Is it not just to selfishly lock the woman down?


Of course, there may be extreme circumstances where unexpected twists are thrown in the way but in general I don't see a purpose for a very lengthy engagement. Your mind should be made up about wanting the person forever before proposing; and if after proposing you change your mind, just let her go instead of putting the woman on a long tin.
