I don't think my computer has a HDMi port, I don't know much about this stuff I'm using my Hisense LCD HD ready tv as my monitor and Its connected through VGA to VGA cable. So the thing is when I'm trying to play games the screen says "VGA No support" even though I can hear the game playing through my speakers, I tried changing resolutions and all that still it doesn't play on screen.. So if my computer has HDMi port and I connect to tv via HDMi to HDMI cable are the games gonna play? Or if I use a cable which on the other side its HDMI and on the other its VGA would it work?

I don't know if I'm making any sense but ur answer would be much appreciated.

First be sure that the TV can work as a monitor. Then properly connect the Tv to your computer in 'Mirror' mode ie both screens show the same thing. To do this connect the Tv to your computer, the goto desktop properties, right-click the second monitor select attached, check whether you want mirror or extended display, click Ok. Thats it.
