In an interview with EME’s young upcoming star Skales,he enlightened us on a lot of things about him and his humble background. In the interview,he told us how he got his stage name “Skales”.

Skales whose real names are Raoul John Njeng-Njeng,told us he started as a fisherman when he used to rap and sing on his boat while fishing, using fish as microphone and was famously called “Eleja akorin” meaning a fisherman that sings. He said he adopted the name Skales from fish’s scales and has ever since been called that.
