So based on this, I decided to go deeper and do little more research on T-Mobile phones. Most Sellers sometimes don't really understand the issue of locked or unlocked. The funny thing about these phones is that they might even be unlocked already but the IMEI will still register them as T-Mobile phones. The best way to find out is to verify by clicking on DEVICE UNLOCK app on the phone which will bring out 2 options of temporary and permanent unlock and you'll click permanent. To now double sure its unlocked, you put a non T-Mobile sim inside the phone. If its already unlocked, it will say failed, and again you can double sure by inserting a non T-Mobile sim in the phone. If MIKKY feels its worth it , he can contact the seller again as i have already chatted with him and he agreed to meet at Macdonald for MIKKY to carry out the simple test. If test fails and all phones are still locked, I'll pay MIKKY $10 for fuel.

PS: The S7 T-Mobile is mine, just in case

ill have you know that T mobile itself has certain restrictions apart from network carrier..even when unlocked, the hotspot may not work etc

yes , i made that statement from experience with a samsung S2 at the time.. i did say 'may' because i cannot be 100% sure that it is peculiar with all tmobile locked devices.

Why pay for something that's free?

If you aren't using the offerup app, whenever you contact the seller by using the "Ask" tab, when the seller replies the message would be in your mails inbox or spam folder, click reply and it would automatically open an offerup tab (mke sure u use puffin browser to open ur mail and the offerup page) . When the tab opens u would see the sellers message, u can also reply and keep refreshing the page to see new msgs.




Or you can just use the offerup application (it as a Chat link) . Dload the app frm a third-party site (Google search offerup.apk). Open your vpn (I use opera vpn). Then change your location to USA. registering can be difficult sometimes, keep trying it wud work.

Note: u need a vpn to use the app. Puffin browser opens the site without vpn too.
