We are currently recruiting for one of the leading financial services institution in Nigeria. An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to join the firm and drive its Investor Relations team.

This institution has a corporate communications unit with circa 30 professionals, working as one team across functional lines in Lagos, Nigeria. They manage over 400,000+ investors and a considerable amount of customers (internal and external). The institution is in the process of restructuring its stakeholder engagement process and practices and recognises the importance of having a dedicated Investor relations sub-group within its corporate communications function. This is an opportunity to join an institution determined to make an impact.
The Corporate Communications & Brands is looking to recruit a manager grade individual who will play a key role in communications and shareholder issues management. This individual will report to the Head of Corporate Communications and will work closely with senior management and other investment professionals in the institution on a global basis.
The Appointee will be involved in managing relationships with existing investors, marketing to existing and potential investors, attending conferences, meeting investors and building relationships.
Specific responsibilities will cover:
· Preparing IR publications and Board presentations
· Preparing the Analyst & Investor conference presentations
· Communicating quarterly and annual results
· Organising the Investor Relations Calendar
· Building and nurturing the investment community relations
· Advising Senior Management
· Assisting in initiating, managing/coordinati ng and developing an effective IR program
· Representing the company and senior management to the investment community
· Enhancing the company's financial reputation
· Encreasing the visibility of the company with all its stakeholders, but especially the shareholders
· Building and maintaining relationships with the international investment community.
The successful candidate will be an outgoing and intelligent individual. To apply you should have experience gained in an analytical, deal based environment such as investment banking or strategy consulting; or within one of the corporate strategy & reputation management firms. Knowledge of the capital market, its practices, rules and players will be highly advantageous for this role and an international outlook is essential. Responsibilities:

Profile: The ideal candidate will have impeccable character evidenced by a strong work ethic, rigorous standards of achievement. He will have excellent leadership, organisational, listening, and communication skills and is comfortable working with his colleagues at the most senior levels of the organisation, including the Chief Executive Officer.
You have a minimum of 5 years experience in the financial services sector as a manager owith a bias for strategy and performance management. Alternatively the ideal candidate will have gained experience with strategic communication in a financial position within the financial services sector, as an analyst (sell-side or buy-side), portfolio manager, adviser to quoted businesses and is knowledgeable about the capital market.
In previous positions the candidate has gained experience with creating and delivering strong presentations about a diversity of subjects to senior executives.
Proven interpersonal skills which have enabled him to drive projects, build consensus, and cement internal and external relationships
Experience with translating strategy into simple and compelling messages
Solid knowledge of the international financial markets and the Nigerian Capital market.

As an Investor Servicing Administrator you will be responsible for all aspects of the agency process for investment transactions clients require from us. Reporting to the IRS Manager, this position requires a strong candidate that is self motivated and comfortable working independently. This position deals strictly with meeting customer complaints revolving around the share purchase, registering, certificates, dividends, and disposal transactions.

Responsibilities:
• Organize physical files and complete the initial investor checklist, including billing, correspondence management, check for completeness, original documentation, and verification of signatories on documents and mandates needed to engage service providers.
• Identify and track gaps in investor documentation and liaison with service providers before attempting to resolve issues necessitating our engagement.
• Conducting company, industry and country-specific research and analysis.
• Keeping subscribers informed of NSE/SEC capital market developments and trends related to their needs.
• Manage relations with stockbrokers, registrars, issuing houses, CSCS, SEC and NSE
• Client account set-up, mapping of investor and related parties, including engagement records.
• Management of the subscription service for weekly market reviews and analyst investor reports.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations, statutory compliance and render proper accounts of engagements. .
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years experience in a registrar back office processing function with strong investigative/ enquiry skills needed for follow through on share purchase, disposal and dividend warrants management experience.
• Proficient in computers and use of technology, including Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Word (knowledge of web-based tools is a definite asset)

Description: The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the Director, Proshare America, California, LA, USA on all matters of relating to fundamental analysis, technical analysis and portfolio screening. This is a multi-faceted job opportunity that requires a strong financial background, personal initiative and flexibility with competing priorities requiring a strong adherence to best practice.
The unit will function independently from the operational and management structure and will relate only on purely professional terms as would be expected of an analyst service. The Senior Analyst will drive the existing team to deliver a professional service including conducting confidential analysis and special projects for the firm pertaining to training 7 education facilitation, analyst report on public offers, private placement memorandums and other financial matters.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project. Coordinate the work to be completed and may be responsible for formal supervision of employees.
