Hugging Shaking Dads', Which Is Better? by chimex38: 5:16pm On Apr 15, 2013 |
Sometimes as young Adults, especially returning 4rm schl or wherever 2 see ur parents. Most if not all, prefer hugging their mum, including me. But when it comes to fathers' is it preferable to 'shake hands' or 'hug'? Well I see shaking hands as a sign that u've been accepted or acknowledged as an adult; as a man by ones father and therefore deserve a handshake 4rm him as he(father) shakes his peers. But a fatherly hug shows u're his son......yes, which u're. But also goes deeper to show u're still a kid(my opinion) who has not come of age yet. Dis is b/c as a kid, one usually hugs ones dad and doesnt seen ok to me to still hug him as an adult especially 'young adults'. It still presents one as still a kid especially when this is done in public. Nairalanders, whats ur say? |
