Nigerian Government Grounds British Airways Aircraft Over Engine Failure In Abuj by igelomo(m): 9:19pm On Apr 15, 2013
Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, Nigeria’s aviation regulatory body, Monday, grounded a British Airways flight, schedule to depart Abuja by 8.14am for London Heathrow, when the aircraft developed a snag in one of its engines before take-off from the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
Acting Director General of NCAA, Dr. Joyce Nkemakonam, said that the aircraft had a snag and was subsequently grounded by the agency.

“The aircraft had a snag and the airline notified NCAA and it was subsequently grounded.”
