Controversial Akwa Ibom governor, Godswill Akpabio, took the spotlight again, Tuesday; this time, as Governor of the Year awarded by Leadership newspaper.

There were several other awardees, and one of them was the rasping Action Congress spokesperson, Lai Mohammed. Lately, Mr. Mohammed has suffered taunts from the ruling PDP, which he relentlessly criticizes. His first name, unfortunately, has come away as his nemesis; and PDP guys spare no effort at reminding him of how he represents, at least by name, everything spurious.
