I have problem using 3G & 4G networks on my phone. I only get EDGE on the device. Meanwhile even though I know that my service provider (MTN) does not support 4G in my area - Akure, I should atleast I should still see 3G.

bro u can not receive 3G signals on ur inspire in Nigeria because at&t has locked its frequency band to 1900 MHz, in Nigeria 3G frequencies stats frm 2100 MHz, I once had the inspire but I sold it.

but i hv seen inspire 4g htc phone in Nigeria wit 3G network on it, n to correct u at&t only blocked the 4G network n not 3G network.

so 4 u to receive 3G n even 4G network u got to root ur phone n upgrade the software frm 2.3 grenades to 4.1.2 annal belly ok
