I am not Hausa speaking individual but truth must be told when it come to issues of African langs.
As all of you are aware that Hausa lang. is widely spoken language in African continent apart from sawahili so also majority of nairalanders.
For nairaland to compete with world media giants like Bbc, voa, facebook, twitter, Radio china, france24, and our local media channels such as Guardian, tell, Dailytrust, saharareporters etc hausa speaking section must be found.
The greatest benefit about having this section is that, nairaland will become more popular because hausa lang was considered LINGUA FRANKA in majority of african continent.
When it comes to placing advert on this media.. Hmm hausa's will be your greatest client hence they lack Envy, tribalism, sectionalism and showing differences, hausa's are peace loving people contrary to what many of you assumed.
Mr Seun dont hesitate pls, even though there are alot of Toms and Jerrys that will advise otherwise.
Looking forward to see this section in nairaland.

This sounds selfish. We have other tribes represented in NL. Don't you think that everyone will begin to clamour for their own thread; with this, the mere reason for NL forum creation will be defeated.
