Hello Nissparts,..i want to assume with your wealth of knowledge in cars especially nissan brands that u are a nissan maintenance consultant. Pls i would like you to help maintain my nissan pathfinder..it currently has an issue which my mechanic has battled without success, to rectify. Its been overheating ever since a piece of metal was removed frm cylinder 1. The source of this piece of iron could not be determined as everything looks to be alright..after a change of the gasket head, d engine was coupled back and since den, its been hell as d car hardly drives up to a kilometer before d temperature needle begins to shoot up towards H. Pls,I would very much appreciate ur help/advice as to what to do now..

I'm on the verge of being convinced to buy a 2010 Nissan Murano. I was told all the issues the earlier versions had have been corrected. Kindly advice on the maintenance of this SUV.

-Is it expensive, relative to the Rav 4 and CR-V?
-Are the parts readily available?
-Can a mechanic that repairs Toyota vehicles handle it? Since it is also a Japanese vehicle.

2010 model is relatively safe.
Only a specialist in Nissans should take care of your vehicle. The Nissan is a completely different kettle of fish in repairs and maintenance compared to a Toyota or Honda.
