The International Forestry Students' Association is only the global network of Students in Forestry Sciences. The Northern Africa Region of IFSA which comprises of countries in North, West and part of Central Africa countries usually organize an annual regional meeting (Northern Africa Regional Meeting) NARM.
The last meeting was held in Kwame Nkwruma University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. between May 15 and 20, 2012. This year IFSA NARM 2013 is proposed to be hosted in Nigeria at the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Nigeria between 24 - 29 June, 2013. It intends to gather 400 Foresters and other related Environmental and Conservation under the theme: The Role of Forest in Storing Carbon, Contributions of Forestry Students across the region.

Note: The formal proposed date was May 27-1June, 2013 but was postponed due to some reasons.
