OOU-NASU PROTEST
The Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU) at the
Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State
chapter, yesterday protested the non-payment of its two-
month salary by the state government.
The union said its members would shun work, if the
government fails to pay their outstanding salary.
NASU Chairman Adewole Raheem said: “We are asking for
the prompt payment of our salary, but the government is not
taking us serious. It is only in OOU that we use subvention,
which is meant for the day-to-day running of the school, to
pay salary.”
OOU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Saburi Adesanya said he could
not stop them from protesting, but urged them to go about it
peacefully.
He urged them to discuss with the government and resolve
the matter amicably.

Yea only d payment, am asked to go to my profile nd print d acceptance receipt after 24hrs....bt i was given d receipt 4 d payment frm d P.O.S machine

Academic Activities have begun in Ekiti State University with
the announcement by the Management that all fresh
students admitted for 2013/2014 should commence
registration procedure from Monday, 9th December, 2013.
Accordingly, the students who must have paid their
acceptance fees are expected to present the original copies
of their credentials at the various points of registration.
Details of the registration are on the University website and
in the newspapers.
The students are to note that they will not be screened until
all tuition fees and other charges are paid.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patrick Oladipo Aina has
congratulated the fresh students for the golden opportunity of
gaining admission into the institution out of thousands of
candidates who applied to the University. He urged them to
be peaceful during the screening exercise.
