The (Dr.)title is used loosely in reference to both medical doctors and PhD holders. In your opinion, which of the two types of doctors is more reputable. By this, I mean which is more respected in the society? |

The PhD is more prestigious. Acquiring that degree means that you've gotten to the height of your field of study. Its not for small boys but for achievers that want to contribute to the society by solving problems face by the society through research. |

Yea, I think you have a point there. But some people think otherwise. They see being a medical doctor the apogee of academic attainment. |
